Self-professed 'Lahore-born nomad' Mohsin Hamid was born in 1971 and has since lived between Lahore, London and New York. His latest novel, Exit West, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2017. He is author of Moth Smoke, How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia, Discontent and its Civilisations and The Reluctant Fundamentalist, which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize for Fiction in 2007 and adapted for cinema. Mohsin has written journalism for TIME, New York Times, Guardian and New Statesman.
