Patrick Süskind
Patrick Süskind, born in 1949, is the author of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, published in 1986. The play The Double Bass was written in 1980 and first performed in 1981 in Munich, where the author lives. His most recent book is a collectin of essays, On Love and Death.
