Hamish Hamilton → Authors → Colin Elford

Colin Elford started his working life over 35 years ago on a private estate, assisting a deer keeper and learning the meaning behind such words as brashing, snedding and beating up.
He now works for the Forestry Commission as a Forest Ranger, and his ‘beat’ is on the Dorset/Wiltshire border. He is the author of Practical Woodland Stalking as well as the forthcoming, and very different, A Year in the Woods: Diary of a Forest Ranger.
